Team Meetings

Before our team heads out to a flood damage project, we have a team meeting. Even our office pup joins. Getting everyone together at the beginning of the day helps us prep for the day.

Every week, your #WeAreLocal GREEN Team comes together for a training session.  These meetings are beneficial because this is where we go over OSHA Regulations, new processes and protocols, health and safety rules, equipment, and products.  

SERVPRO of La Crosse County works hard to be the leader in our industry.  Training records are kept for everyone.

Did you know that at least twice a year, your #WeAreLocal GREEN team offers informational classes...?  Better yet, that depending on your work, you may qualify for continuing education classes?  

Even though they are geared more towards insurance agents, they are open to the public.  Class sizes vary as well as the topics.  They include ethics, water restoration, trauma cleanup, and understanding mold in the restoration industry.  

Lots of valuable information is given in all of the classes that we offer, including resources to take back with you to utilize.  

Severe Weather Awareness Week for Wisconsin will be April 9-13th.  Typically, this is a time for schools, businesses, families, and others to run a mock tornado drill in order to be more ready in the event of a tornado.  The drills are part of the annual spring severe weather campaign.

Winter in Wisconsin can sometimes be down right messy.  When a semi hit a patch of black ice, it skidded to a halt just inside this local bar.  

Your #WeAreLocal GREEN Team was called in to help with the debris removal and cleanup.  

There was a local hotel that suffered a fire.  They wanted to be back up and running as quickly as possible.  We have the ability to call in a Large Loss team to assist us. It took 7 days from start to finish in cleaning the whole hotel.

Every March, SERVPRO of La Crosse County participates in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge Event.  Our team raised nearly $1000 for the Wisconsin Special Olympics in 2015, and over $1200 in 2016.  Thank you so much to everyone who reached deep into their pockets to help a fun and worthy cause.
